QPS is an ATEX Notified Body, accredited by RvA in The Netherlands with many years of experience certifying equipment used in Explosive Atmospheres, including conformity assessments to ATEX Directive 2014\/34\/EU.<\/p>\n

The Ex symbol indicates that the product complies with an explosion protection technique.\u00a0 It is followed by the equipment group and category.<\/p>\n
\u00a0II 2G – This example marking indicates that a product is explosion protected, for above ground equipment (II), Category 2 (Zone 1), for explosive gas atmospheres (G)<\/p>\n
The CE marking followed by QPS\u2019s notified body number 2876 is placed on products where the QAN (Module D and Module E) is issued and controlled by QPS.<\/p>\n
