The competence of an organization is in the people that work within it. In this regard, QPS has one of the highest technical and management competencies in the product approval sector, which is due in part to the extremely low level of staff turnover.

At the technical level, the average number of years of hands-on experience of all the current engineering staff involved in testing and certification to national and international safety standards still averages well over 15 years. QPS staff keep up-to-date on standards and approval matters by leading the development of special safety codes, and by actively participating in selected national and international standards committees and working groups.

At the management level, senior managers participate in national and international forums at the highest level. They chaired and continue to chair several important committees and working groups.
